Presently Liege is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Uhde business unit, which encompasses of the chemical engineering and plant construction activities of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG.
Prior to that, Robson held the position of CEO of the Network of Excellence (NoE), the EPC delivery arm of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG and Director of the oil and gas business in the UK.
Before rejoining thyssenkrupp Liege was an Executive at Foster Wheeler and Worley Parsons companies responsible for delivering a number of mega global projects. Prior to that Liege has been GM / Director of the Thyssenkrupp engineering South Africa, including UHDE, cement and mining for 18 years. Previous to that worked in the Anglo-American steel and Mining industry.
In 41 years he has proven expertise in strategizing and implementing complex project plans on a large, international scale, spearheading creative solutions to problems, and exceeding company targets. Success directing and motivating global operational teams to meet and exceed targets, whilst impressing stakeholders and clients with efficient project execution.
